Oscar de la Renta Pediatric Care Center

Inaugurated in 2017 in Verón, this medical center, managed through a public-private partnership, offers services to children ages 0 to 15. Although it is primary care, it stands out for offering second-level services such as consultations, emergency care, laboratory services, and more. In collaboration with UNICEF and Sanar una Nación, it carries out a program for children under 5 with nutritional deficiencies, including malnutrition screening and the delivery of therapeutic foods.

Puntacana Child Diversity Center (CEDI)

Located in Verón-Punta Cana, since 2020 CEDI is the only center of its kind in the eastern region of the country. The center's mission is to provide an integrated space for the evaluation and diagnosis of children with disabilities ages 0-17, incorporating the family into the treatment strategy.

  • The National Disability Council (CONADIS) and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) recognized CEDI with the Seal of Inclusive Good Practices for People with Disabilities, RD-Incluye.
  • The National Council of Private Enterprise (CONEP) and the UNDP awarded CEDI the recognition of "Promising Practice 2022".
