Puntacana Group with the community
At the end of 2014, Fundación Puntacana, in commemoration of the company's 45th anniversary, began implementing this project whose fundamental objective is to provide the least favored communities of the Province of La Altagracia with social service infrastructure (community centers, children's recreational parks, sports courts, and others) that effectively help solve basic collective needs in those populations. As a result of this program, more than 30 community works have been built, chosen by consensus and with the close collaboration of the communities, impacting more than 100,000 people.
Community Safety
This program consists of implementing initiatives to strengthen citizen security through the contribution of land, construction of facilities, furniture and equipment, transportation units, among others, to local civil protection entities.
With this we contribute to preserving peaceful coexistence in the Punta Cana area, which is vital to maintaining the pace of economic and social development shown by the region.
Through this program, we have provided space to house the dependencies of the National Police Station located on the Autovía del Este, donated furniture for the facilities of the Verón Police Department, and delivered transportation, communication, and protective equipment for civil protection personnel. These actions help strengthen security and peaceful coexistence in the Punta Cana area, which is vital to maintaining the pace of economic and social development shown by the region.
